Abstract

Interfaith ministry is no longer an exotic aberration. It is now the norm. What Catholic hospital chaplain has not found himself visiting a Protestant or Jewish person? What Protestant minister has not found herself giving comfort and counsel to a person of another faith tradition, however much in passing? The world has grown smaller, our communities are much more diverse, and our ministries every day touch people who our grandparents' ministers would rarely have encountered.
